The “Happy Summer” project – an organization of summer holidays for children from orphanages. Based on our experience working with children’s social institutions. We concluded that a large part of our work is not material, targeted assistance and more global. This is the organization of leisure, communication with children, spending time together and the spiritual, moral support. We tried to give children unforgettable and vivid impressions during the summer holidays something that they have not seen before and did not try. Additionally, in this project, orphans are in a summer camp with children from families. They are not separated individually and communicate together. Children told us about their usual summer holidays. In the local camps, orphans are separated by one detachment or the local camp is for orphans. By the way, we want to move them to a different atmosphere and a different social environment. They need to learn to adapt and can represent themselves, to work in a team with new children. Also, we want to show them something new. It should be a new place for children, new classes, new knowledge. We have chosen two of the Carpathian camps “Carpathian’s Tale” (city of Volovets, Trans Carpathian region) and “Carpathian Robinson Crusoe” (city Vizhnitsa, Chernivtsi region) for the 2016 summer season. This is small camps where the children live like a big family all know each other and learn to work as a team. In the camp, they use all their skills and abilities to represent their squad in the best light. Children provided with an interesting program of leisure activities such as contests, quests, games, swimming in mountain rivers, a lot of hiking in the scenic spots, lighting fires, discos and the much of laugh.
